THE STORY OF SELF-CARE OVER EVERYTHING
How We Started
Self-care Over Everything was created by NaKeisha J. Dawkins, a self-proclaimed mental health advocate who has a passion for promoting therapy for all walks of life. While encouraging those around her to attend therapy, she received a text message from a friend expressing a desire to text her therapist.
As a professional within IT whose experience includes gap analysis and process improvement, NaKeisha identified a gap. There needs to be to a tool available to individuals new to therapy to help with the transition with interacting with a therapist. It was then the Self-Care Over Everything workbook was created.
